HOW IT ALL STARTED
Allow us to introduce ourselves. We were born and raised in Portland, Oregon and became friends through basketball at the age of 10. We both played professional basketball, but always talked about doing business together off the court. During our off season, we would work out with our trainer and mentor, Erin Cowan.
We used to all meet up for lunch sometimes and talk about business opportunities. Erin Cowan was a big part of the Northeast Portland community, and after he passed away, we helped create the Erin Cowan Foundation to continue to help the community through sports and education.

WE WANTED TO CREATE SOMETHING FUN!
We wanted to create a business to drive revenue to the foundation and also something that is fun as well. We used to meet with Erin at one of his favourite coffee shops here in Portland and decided to honour his memory by creating our own. Crossover Coffee is not just coffee, it's a springboard for culture, connectivity, and opportunity.
People, place, and opportunity all crossover at coffee shops and we hope to help change the narrative space for people to connect over coffee. It is our goal to offer dialogue, entertainment, civic engagement and advocacy for the good of the community and conversation. Community is the heart of Crossover Coffee.
